Boxed pair continental silver ornate napkin rings having applied fancy buckles with Fleur-de-Lis, Acanthus leaf and shell decorations, one inscribed: HP 1864, the other: FP 1864.
The bodies have foliate and geometric decorations.
Each of these ornate and finely detailed napkin rings 2 1/8" in diameter. 1 1/2" tall, with the pair weighing 43 grams or 1.4 ozs. Troy.
The fitted box is from Jay′s Diamond Merchant, Goldsmith & Jeweller, 142 & 144 Oxford St. London and has a presentation card: With Sympathy 16.vii-97 F W Batch 14 St Alban′s Villas Highgate Road N.W.
Inscribed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
